You never know what you are going to get..................

We have had a busy couple of weeks at home and in the shop and I have lots to talk about but I will not bore you with lots of details.  Below is a beautiful quilt made  by Pamela Jones using Kaffe Fasset Fabrics in a simple  pattern (the fabrics shine  through) , oh and the quilting is just beautiful on the quilt too.

 We had our club day at the shop and this month I was demonstrating easy English Paper Piecing with the help of Sue Daley's templates, Patterns and ideas from Patchwork with Busyfingers

Below is Gloria's beautiful hexagon quilt that she has made all by hand and quilting by hand.

 We also have some very talented young sewers in our shop and this is Kate with another gorgeous skirt that she has made in our Dressmaking classes with the very experienced Narelle Thamm.
Kate has been coming to class on a Saturday morning and she is very very good and loves sewing.

 This is Ruby and she is making a dressing gown for herself for the upcoming winter here on the Sunshine Coast Ruby loves using the overlocker as it is quicker and gives a beautiful professional finish to your garments.

 Jordan loves coming to sewing classes too with Narelle she is making a dress to wear.

 So we have been busy in the shop and love having classes in the huge class room and in air conditioned comfort.
