We Need Your Help

Here is your chance to vote in the Local Quilt Shop Contest for 2022. We would love your support for us in this contest by clicking on the sewing machine image below and selecting Kimz Sewing as your favourite local quilt shop. You can even get bonus points for adding an image on the voting page, so maybe take a photo of something you’ve made from purchases in store or in class, or even just a picture of your sewing machine to get those extra points. It has been extremely encouraging and rewarding to read all of our voters lovely comments when it comes to the service that we provide, so thank you to everyone who has voted so far. We greatly appreciate all of our wonderful customers because without you there is no us.

This great competition runs annually, with voting opening on “International Local Quilt Shop Day” (fourth Saturday in January) until the end of February. The Local Quilt Shop Contest was created to highlight the efforts of local quilt shops and to provide the general public an opportunity to show their appreciation. By supporting local quilt shops like us here at Kimz, we are building community, maintaining centers for inspiration and enriching our local economies.

If you haven’t been in to see us in store this year you will be in for a big surprise. We have had a freshen up of the front area of the shop as you can see above. Most of our visitors comments have been on how much more roomy it feels. So if you happen to be nearby, why not pop in to the shop and see all of our fresh new changes.
